Summer Update

June 30th, 2009 by Pamela

Kilns Gallery and Gift Shop has just celebrated its’ fourth birthday. We look forward with excitement and hope as we strive to build on our reputation for quality and unusual gifts, continuing to search for great gift ideas.

There is already a wide selection of ever changing stock catering for new born and children, to birthdays, engagements and weddings. As value for money becomes ever more important a well chosen gift from Kilns Gallery will suit every occasion. Our ever growing selection of quality cards, local gifts and original paintings will leave you spoilt for choice.

This year sees the gallery featuring the work of artists; Simon Griffiths – a ceramic artist with a passion for wildlife especially the British garden bird. Susie Thompson – continuing to produce exquisite hand painted silk scarves and pastel drawings of local scenes. New artist Jaqui-Anne Geoghan has produced some sensitive watercolours of Limekilns and Charlestown.

New for the coming year is Pamela – the owner, a graduate of Edinburgh College of Art is coming out of “retirement” and is getting back to painting watercolours. Pamela is also becoming known for her floral designs for special occasions. These can be ordered at the shop and delivered locally (the Dunfermline area for a delivery charge). Flower orders to placed before Wednesdays.

Pamela, Lindsay and the girls hope you will all pay us a visit and see for yourselves the exciting range of gifts in a lovely seaside setting.
